FAQ
- Can I bring my kids?
- No, we love your little ones, but we are planning an adults-only celebration. We appreciate you making arrangements so you can enjoy the evening with us.
- Can I bring a plus one?
- No, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited. If a guest is invited, their name will be included on the envelope. We appreciate your understanding!
- What's the dress code?
- Formal attire. Women: floor-length gowns. Men: dark suits with a tie (ties required). For outfit inspiration, check out this helpful guide on formal wedding attire (this article shows lots of darker options for women, but summer colors for women are encouraged! If you are confused please reach out). Please note: white is reserved for the bride, so please do not wear a white dress.
- Will transportation be provided?
- No group transportation will be arranged. Valet parking is available at El Encanto, and we recommend ride share options like Uber or Lyft so you can relax and celebrate safely.
- What is an "unplugged" ceremony?
- We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during our ceremony. We have a photographer and videographer capturing the moment — and we'd love to see your smiling faces, not your phones, in the photos.
- Where should I stay?
- Our hotel block is available at El Encanto Hotel in Santa Barbara. We've also listed a few nearby hotel suggestions on our Travel & Accommodation page.
- When should I RSVP by?
- Be on the lookout for a formal invitation coming soon with a mail-in RSVP.
